Join the Rural Organizing Project as we launch our Fall voter program at the Fredenberg Community Center the evening of Thursday, September 12th in district 3B to elect Mark Munger to the Minnesota House of Representatives. Come hear from the candidate, discuss the Minnesota we can build together, and learn how you can take action (door knocking, phone banking, writing messages, etc.).

Sunday, August 4⋅10:00am – 3:00pm

We’ll have a brief business meeting followed by speakers starting at 10 am. Potluck lunch and social time starting at noon. We’ll hear from state organizers, candidates, and campaigns. You’ll learn more about candidates who are running in our district, state, and beyond. You’ll hear about the ways that you can best help our candidates win in November.

Tower, MN – July 4th Parade

July 4, 2024 (11-12:30)
Pancake breakfast 8-10:30 Thursday morning, flag raising at old legion building at 10:30, parade at 11:00, breitung community picnic Friday 1-4, Harbor Palooza Saturday Food, beverages, and live music with “Wrecking Crew” with Sara Holmbeck from 12 – 3 pm and “Elvis” from 3-5pm.

Ely, MN– July 4th Parade (1:00-3:00)
 
Walk with us to show your support for the Boundary Waters and the Ely community. The parade is one of the most iconic events of the summer, and we would love to celebrate together with you.
We will meet on 4th Ave E and East Harvey St., (near ice arena) between 12:00 and 12:30pm and the parade will begin at 1pm.

2024 DFL Caucus Information

Precinct DFL Caucuses: Tuesday, February 27, 2024. Registration 6:30, caucuses start at 7pm.This official caucus finder at the MN Secretary of State site will have 2024 caucus locations beginning in February: https://caucusfinder.sos.state.mn.us/ St Louis County 03 DFL Convention: Saturday, March 23, 2024. Registration opens at 10:15 am, convention starts at 11 am. Vermilion Community College in Ely. In the event of cancellation due to weather conditions, the convention will be moved to Saturday, April 6. Senate District 3 DFL Convention: TBD Congressional District 8 Convention: May 4, 2024. Cass Lake MN. Details TBA. MN State DFL Convention: May 31- June 2, 2024. Duluth at rhe DECC. Details TBA.
